Is this a good time to go find yourself a nice cozy cave in the Himalayas and lose yourself in isolated bliss? Live like a Yogi, practicing presence 24/7/365?
Well for most of us, that’s not the situation in life right now. Its challenging enough to remember practicing presence much less escaping to live like a yogi.
Then, what’s a modern day yogi to do?

We can’t necessarily escape our circumstance and perhaps we aren’t meant to. We’re here having this life experience so lets make it as wholesome as we can with clean living & practicing presence.
Living like a yogi is truly about presence, about constant integrated awareness to the realization that we are more than the body, the mind or the emotions. Or even the circumstances.
We can incorporate this presence is everyday activities, in the choices we make when we shop, how we spend our time, our interactions with people, how we think…just about everything. All of it can add up to clean living, conscious living, practicing presence.
This kind of practice takes us back to understanding who we are. People talk about purposeful living, and really it comes down to choices at every moment.
Once we commit to practicing how to live with presence, it can become a habit. We can start with food and understanding what nourishment when we eat really means.
None of us are alone, friends. After all, we are Yogis on Earth, so we will help each other live like yogis.
